Who we are

Bell Therapy, Inc. is a certified and accredited agency specializing in the treatment of various mental health conditions.  We are proud to operate three Mental Health Clinics, located in various community settings throughout Milwaukee.

Who we serve

We welcome individuals and family members experiencing a variety of psychological, emotional, social, spiritual or behavioral challenges that arise as they, or their loved ones, live with the symptoms, disabilities, stigmas and lost opportunities associated with the presence of serious and persistent mental illnesses.  We also welcome consumers who experience behavioral symptoms and sensory or cognitive/intellectual issues, associated with the presence of developmental disabilities.  We have experience serving individuals who may have other complex mental health conditions such as personality, traumatic stress, anxiety, sexual or substance use disorders.  We can serve individuals living with mental health conditions directly or we can also provide supportive counseling and psycho-education to family members, friends and other loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions.

How we serve

Using person-and family-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and co-occurring capable approaches, we aim to help consumers reach satisfying life goals and objectives, cope with emergent symptoms, functional disabilities and social stigmas associated with mental health conditions.  We also use these approaches to help consumers gain access to as many opportunities as possible.  We do this by providing the following modalities of service:

  • Initial bio-psycho-social assessments
  • Individual psychotherapy consultations using supportive, cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic/intra-psychic, solution-focused or multi-modal approaches
  • Family-centered consultations
  • Psycho-education sessions and mental health skills training
  • Co-occurring substance abuse counseling and support (harm reduction, engagement/persuasion, education and 12-step recovery services)
  • Psychiatric Evaluation
  • Psychiatric Medication Monitoring
  • Interpersonal or Group Therapy Sessions

Our staff consists of:

  • Psychotherapists (Advanced Practice Social Workers APSW's, Licensed Clinical Social Workers LCSW's, Licensed Professional Counselors LPC's and Art Therapists
